Last weekend was a rare four-day holiday for me; so we loaded up the car and headed to Southwest Missouri for a brief walk down memory lane (after attending a friend’s graduation from pharmacy school in Memphis).
Our main destination was Branson where we visited Silver Dollar City and Ripley’s Believe It or Not (I have yet to reach the age where the shows in Branson appeal to me). Sunday, we ventured up to Springfield, MO for a movie and dinner with old friends. Then on Monday we made the trek to Ava, MO for a brief tour of my “hometown.”
Going home just reaffirmed my place in Nashville and made me realize how much one small move changed my life.
