The beauty of a Las Vegas wedding … little to no planning. I am not worrying about invites, seating charts, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, etc. Instead, we are able to focus on us and our plans for the next year or so, which include the adventures of house buying and babies. This also, of course means that we are saving a ton of money on wedding expenses.
What this also means is that friends and extended family will likely not be included. For us, it is important to include immediate family and allow the day to be completely about our nuptials rather than being about making everyone else happy. Part of me feels guilty about this and I am worried about hurting my friends’ and families’ feelings.
At the end of the day, what Jeff and I wanted was to have a private, intimate and simple wedding, and that is what we are planning.
