One Day at a Time

As I write this, my glutes and the top of my thighs are screaming at me … more like a dull “HEY YOU.” But, a scream nonetheless.

I am finally starting to notice changes and discover muscles I only knew existed because of anatomy classes. My legs are getting smaller and my arms have less of the “chicken wing.” My stomach is starting to feel tighter – though it doesn’t look it (yet). I feel better in my clothes, which by the way, are a few sizes smaller – I bought some new, smaller pants a few weeks ago and they are already too big.

It’s amazing what a few pounds can do, overall, I am down 25 pounds and a total of 26 inches. I just feel better and have more confidence. For the first time in my life, I don’t completely hate the reflection in the mirror … sure I am not where I want to be, but I am a heck of a lot closer than I used to be.

I honestly can say that without the Beachbody programs and support system, I would not be where I am. It started with Shaun T’s Rockin’ Body and is continuing with Debbie Siebers’ Slim in 6 and after that, Chalene Johnson’s TurboFire. I am on a roll, and I ain’t stopping any time soon.
