Goodbye 2013

As the year comes to a close, it is easy to sit back and think about all the things I meant to do but didn’t. Or to look back on my list of goals and resolutions and highlight those I ignored. Instead, I am working to choose a slightly more positive outlook.

2013 was a great year for me personally and professionally – aside from forgetting how old I am for the first time (by the way, if the doctor lists your age as 32, don’t argue – the medical records are a little better at math than you are).

So, as I look back and subsequently forward, my goal is to be positive and focus on how far I made it rather than how far I didn’t. After all, a new year with new goals and resolutions is less than two weeks away.
