2014 is off to a kick tush start! Life, both personally and professionally, is on a roll. To recap … got engaged, planning a Vegas wedding for 6.14.14, starting house hunting and family planning and starting a new chapter in my career.
Sure it’s not traditional, but I have always wanted to get married in Las Vegas – despite my tendency to love planning and everything that comes with it. But, the idea of a simple, intimate wedding for immediate family only is very appealing. Luckily, the boy is on the same page.
We are working through the planning and trying to determine the logistics of friends and extended family for the celebration part of the party, but for the ceremony, we plan to keep it small and simple.
While, this year will be wedding focused, we are also starting the house hunting process (which is basically a discovery of the difference between fantasy and reality).
It kind of feels like I went from 18 to 32 overnight, but it is all so exciting and I cannot wait to see all that 2014 will bring.
Being non-traditionalists, we do not plan to register, but have set up a Hatch My House registry for those interested.
