This morning, I wanted to stay curled up in bed with the fiancé and the pets – all 3 boys looked so warm and cozy. Even as I got up, put on my workout clothes and drank my pre-workout, I was negotiating a rest day with myself. I can double up on Saturday or do it tonight, or whatever. But, I know myself and I knew that if I didn’t do it this morning, it wasn’t happening.
So, I laced up my Nikes and pressed play. I pushed through and I got it done, 30 minutes and that’s it. Today was Cardio Fix and Day 12 of 21 Day Fix. I can feel my body getting stronger, that doesn’t mean it got easier though!
Sure, I could use a few more minutes of sleep, but it was more important to me to get my workout in and stay on program. It would have been easier to stay in bed, but I would have regretted it all day. With only 94 days until Viva Las Jacobs, I am more focused and dedicated than ever.
Working out is only part of the equation, the rest is all nutrition – fueling my body so it can push its limits and get fit and healthy. To keep me on track, I start every single day with the Healthiest Meal of the Day … Shakeology. All natural, dense nutrition and superfoods. Did I mention delicious? I cannot put into words how much I love my Shakeology. My current favorite recipe is Vanilla Shakeology, Almond Milk and Tropical Fruit (frozen). It’s like a tropical milkshake and its good for me.
